Policy / additional sourceHow Much Does Pilates Instructor Insurance Cost?
The instructor programs in this comparison list starting annual prices of $159, $189 and $228. IFG lists a separate $65 annual student policy for eligible trainees. These amounts describe different programs, not identical coverage or personalized quotes.
Compare general and professional liability limits, covered teaching activities, additional insured fees and optional equipment coverage. Monthly payments may have different totals and terms. Studio insurance should be assessed separately because premises, property and employee exposures can change the price.
Pilates Instructor Liability Insurance: What to Compare
Coverage depends on the policy, endorsements, exclusions, and your activities.
01
General liability
Check protection for third-party injury or property-damage claims arising from business operations.
02
Professional liability
Check protection for claims that your instruction or programming caused harm.
03
Reformer and apparatus eligibility
Name every apparatus and method you teach. Ask the provider to confirm them in writing.
04
Online and home-based teaching
Confirm live versus recorded classes, your home premises, and where clients are located.
05
Additional insured requirements
Ask each venue what endorsement it requires. A certificate alone does not add an insured.
06
Equipment and studio property coverage
Check owned and rented apparatus, covered causes of loss, replacement value, and deductibles. Liability is different from property insurance.
Instructor insurance vs. studio insurance
Instructors
Check coverage for your teaching activities and locations, including work across studios and practice teaching.
Compare options for your situationStudio owners
Also investigate premises, business property, employees, and other business exposures. An individual instructor policy may not cover the studio entity.

Sources and transparency
Last checked: October 7, 2026. This comparison uses provider-owned Pilates, student, and studio program pages and linked materials. Programs were selected for published US Pilates relevance and audience coverage. This is a selected sample, not the whole market, a ranking, or a recommendation.
This page compares published provider information; personalized insurance guidance, eligibility and quotes are handled by the linked providers.
Each provider card links to its primary source. “Not verified” means the reviewed material did not establish the fact; it does not mean the coverage is excluded. Included and optional features are distinguished. Advertised starting prices are not equivalent policies or final quotes.
Source discrepancies: Canopy’s webpage and brochure show different deductible information, so no deductible comparison is asserted. CM&F’s headline uses per-occurrence wording while policy details use per-claim wording; the card follows policy details. Obtain actual policy documents from the provider. Canopy also uses both monthly-policy and payment-installment descriptions; confirm the policy term, upfront payment and fees before relying on the advertised monthly amount.
McORE provides this comparison and equipment links. The linked insurance provider, broker, or insurer handles eligibility, personalized quotes, applications, policy issuance, and insurance sales. No insurance referral partnership is represented; this page uses ordinary provider links without affiliate identifiers.
